OUR WINES

The word “Capitel” in veronese dialect means “votive shrine”.

Our wines are named with the name of the shrines located in the different vineyards, Capitel Foscarino and Capitel Croce,
or with the name of San Vincenzo Ferreri, the patron saint of the vine growers.

600.000 bottles is the total production, that has always been focused on five labels.

SAN VINCENZO

The wine takes its name from San Vincenzo Ferreri, the patron saint of vine growers.

An expressive, creamy white wine, offering flavors of blood orange granita, fresh tarragon, and yellow peach, with a juicy finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with Italian antipasti and first courses, shellfish and mollusks, as well as with fusion and spiced cuisine.

CAPITEL FOSCARINO

The wine takes its name from the volcanic hill, atop which lies the Capitel Foscarino vineyard.

Aromatic, with notes of banana, jasmine, chamomile, and mineral aromas. Fresh and savory, with a hint of lime.

The perfect pairing is with asparagus, especially the local white variety, but it also pairs beautifully with any seasonal vegetable-based first courses, grilled fish, and shellfish.

CAPITEL CROCE

The wine takes its name from the sanctuary adjacent to the vineyard on Zoppega Hill.

Delicate yet rich, with aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit, floral nuances, and subtle mineral hints.

Well-bodied, enveloping on the palate with a rounded sip, built upon a fresh and savory structure.

Perfect with fish soups, white meats, and mushrooms. Excellent with vitello tonnato.

REALDA

The wine takes its name from the history of the area where the vineyard is located: Dugale Realda.

Brilliant ruby red, elegant and intense, with aromas of licorice and red fruits, currant and walnut husk, black pepper, and vegetal notes.

Smooth on the palate, with an excellent balance between the wine’s fine tannins and those from the oak. Remarkably fresh, with a long, lingering finish.

Excellent paired with roasts, braised dishes, mixed grilled meats, and aged cheeses.

I CAPITELLI

The wine takes its name from the votive Capitelli that surround our vineyards.

Intense golden yellow with amber highlights. Remarkably complex, rich with aromas of passion fruit, apricot, honey, and pear.

Sweet and creamy, with good acidity but, above all, a pronounced savory-mineral drive that creates a striking contrast. The finish evokes the flavor of zabaione.

A sweet wine that pairs beautifully with lobster, it is also excellent with foie gras pâté, cheeses, and pastries.
